Dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether is a mediumto slow volatile solvent that can be used as a true solvent. It is the dissolvent for oil-based gravure and flexo printing inks and the basic solvent foroil-based screen printing inks.
Dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether can be used as a solvent for high-grade electrophoretic paints.
Dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether can be used as a couplant and solvent for household and industrial cleaning agents, grease and paint removers, metal cleaning agents and hard surface cleaning agents.
Dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether is alsoused as a stabilizer for agricultural herbicide, fixative for essence,coalescing agent for ground polishing agent and brightener, emollient incosmetic formula, couplant and solvent for some vat dyes and fabrics.
